The Asturias Airport is 36 km away, the bus station is a 5-minute walk away, and the port is 3 km away, making it easy to access our establishment by whatever means of transport you choose to use to get to the city.

The Silken Ciudad Gijón is the best option if you want to stay in a central location but free of the typical hustle and bustle of the busy streets of major cities, and if you want to have easy access to one of the most beautiful beaches of the Green Coast, Poniente beach. When you get there, you will find miles of coastline to explore, a healthy activity that will help you identify better than ever with the maritime nature of the city. On the east end of this beach is the Marina, halfway to the well-known neighbourhood of Cimavilla, which houses the historic centre of Gijón.
Close to the city centre
By walking 10 minutes, you can reach the foot of Santa Catalina, where the old town is located; and here you will find the hill of the same name, where Chillida’s sculpture stands, with a more than appropriate title: Elogio del Horizonte (Eulogy to the Horizon). Going toward the South, you come to Calle Corrida, without a doubt the vibrant leisure centre of the city thanks to its bars, cider houses, restaurants, shops and overall ambiance.
