The hotel is located in the Los Llanos sector near the three major shopping centres in the city: the Meridiano, Corte Inglés and 3 de Mayo. Heading towards the ocean, within a 10 minute walk, you can find the city's spectacular botanical garden, the Tenerife Auditorium designed by the prestigious Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava and the César Manrique Marine Park, with its spectacular salt-water swimming pools. Beside it is the exhibition district of the capital. Heading north-east, passing the pier of the city port, stands the Museum of Nature and Man, which precedes the Plaza de España.

The famous Las Teresitas Beach is just a 15 minute drive away, while the main airport in the area for North Tenerife is just 10 minutes from the Silken Atlántida’s front door.

The nature that surrounds the hotel is spectacular. Aside from the beaches, the Anaga mountains lie to the North, while in the South you will find the most characteristic natural phenomenon on the island: the Teide Volcano.
