Our property is located on calle Carlos Vázquez, a street closed off to traffic. This provides peace and quiet for all the rooms, allowing the utmost relaxation for our guests. Just a 1-minute walk from the door is the Plaza Mayor [Main Square] of the city, which is the city centre itself. The City Hall is located in it.
Ciudad Real is full of monuments, statues, convents and palaces. Its streets are overflowing with culture and history. Among the city’s highlights is the historical-artistic area composed of the churches of Santiago (a 10-minute walk from our accommodation in Ciudad Real), San Pedro (1-minute walk) and the cathedral of Santa Maria del Prado, just 5 minutes away. Also, just 10 minutes away is the famous Don Quixote Museum, together with the Cervantes Library, named in honour of the author of the most famous Spanish novel of all time. The famous Plaza de la Constitución [Constitution Square] is only 5 minutes' walk away, as well as the Diocesan Museum and the Palacio de la Diputación [Provincial Palace]. The Medrano Palace is only 2 minutes away from the door of the Silken Alfonso X, while the famous Puerta de Toledo door, the last surviving entry through the ancient wall surrounding the city, is just 15 minutes’ walk
